So, my son has been outside "helping" Josh work on the chicken coop a lot lately. He really likes to try to use the power tools, but it's not exactly safe for him to do so. Sooooooo... this is what he got from us for his birthday.
They really spin and make construction sounds. He LOVES them and really enjoys feeling like he's helping Daddy.

Hide and Seek.....
This game is best enjoyed when the seeker knows the hider is hiding. Otherwise, it can cause panic. Just a tip!

Cupcakes!!!!!
My sister's bridal shower was today... I made cupcakes for the guests and they turned out pretty cute. Our theme was, "helping the love birds create their nest".
It was a good time, but I'm sure glad to be done planning!

Eyelashes much?
We don't normally wear make-up like this... for the record. Today was recital day for C's dance and she had to have stage makeup.
I love how her toothless smile keeps her looking young even while she has gobs of face paint on.

Someday.... her feet will do this!
We're so proud of our little ballerina!

Eco Living
I present to you my daughter's wonderful ideas on how she can personally make an eco-difference. I love her desire to make a difference and find creative ways to do so.
Gift for him.....
Here's a fun gift idea... I made this for my Father-in-Law. I got the idea from the Hippy Housewife. Homemade spice mix!
Each spice card has a recommended recipe on the back of it.
In other news.....
I made my Dad a coffee mug... since he drinks coffee....
I had the kids with me and I don't know what happened... I guess I was distracted.... but it turned out like this:
The poem says:
"You're the best Dad I think... Rember you're loved each time you drink"
Dorky. Fun.
Oh well.... it makes a great story. Haha. The kids also made one for their Daddy. It turned out pretty cute.
