Jibberish

Juice on my floor

food in my hair

toys cast aside

do they even care?

Laundry unfolded

beds are unmade

Is that pee on the floor?

Whew!  Just lemonade.

Stains on my t-shirt

dirt on the rug

yesterday's coffee 

still in my mug......

Cooking, cleaning, 

mopping and such

who'd a thought 

I'd love it this much?

A perfect house

can't always be,

nobody knows it 

better than me.

But would I change it?

Not even a bit!

For joy is found

inside of it.
