Cranky....

Girls only- date.

So, my hubs was in the library late doing homework and Hipster fell asleep really early, so Ballerina and I decided to enjoy a mother-daughter dinner date.  I wanted to make it special, so I opened a bottle of sparkling cider for us.  We shared it out of the one wine glass that we own.  

My chicken turned out pretty yummy, I filled his cavity with butter, rosemary, and lemon slices.  Then I rubbed him down with coconut oil and sprinkled rosemary on top of him.  Then he roasted in my large crock pot all afternoon.  

Kid approved!

Quick craft

I've had this sweater sitting around for a while now... not sure what to do with it.  It's the kind of material that is suuuuper itchy to wear.

I love the colors, but I just can't wear them....   It was given to me by a friend who didn't know what to do with it either.... LOL

Anyway, long story short, I found a good use for it today.

Ballerina has a new hat.  Hipster is jealous, so I guess I'll need to find another sweater around here somewhere......

Problem is, all my sweaters are either still being worn by me or super girly looking.  The thrift store may be gettin' a visit... I think I'm due for one anyway!
